Encounter in Scripture – Letters in Digital Times (via 54books)

Lovely to get a mention in this wonderful article by Marie Isabel Matthews-Schlinzig. I like to point out that I haven’t ever technically written to God, for the record though… Click on the link below to read the whole piece.

“Every morning I listen to the mail, to the sound it makes when it slides through the slit in our front door. I hope for personal letters. Written by hand on paper (or printed out if your hand doesn’t play along). The typeface of my address often reveals who is writing to me. Friends family. Sometimes I open the envelope straight away. Sometimes I place it on the kitchen or desk and look at it happily for a while.”
