“My Letter Writing Place”

I can’t decide if this will capture people’s imagination or not but I thought it would be lovely just to see the sort of places people write letters from. The desks of famous letter writers I find fascinating, to think such literary geniuses would have been sitting there just like any of us corresponding with someone in their own fair hand, locked in that moment of thought and flow.

So if you want to, at some point while writing a letter, ask a friend, or set your camera on a timer to get a little snap of that place and you, be it at the dining table, on the sofa, in a study, or library, cafĂ©, tearoom, on a train, up a mountain, or anywhere you like really. We don’t even have to know who the letter is to, just the place it was written. What weird, wild, wonderful, or just plain old sensible places have you written a letter from? We can add you to our gallery.
