It was lovely to chat to journalist Helen Brown about the wanton desecration (!?) of our beautiful iconic postboxes by the company who should love and respect them the most, and to know I’m not the only one who thinks they are rather an abomination.
Also just to add, 1) I think parcels and letters aren’t mutually exclusive for a postal service, 2) my understanding is that once you’ve placed your parcel in the recycling-bin-esque door you “can’t” reopen it to check it’s fallen down safely which is the problem, and 3) definitely keep using your Post Offices. Embrace the queues and support our lovely subpostmasters!
