It was really lovely to be invited on the Late Lunch Show on LMFM Radio with Alison O’Reilly to have a chat about the Society.
We talked about Stephen Fry’s lovely letter supporting the Society, brilliant postal services, beautiful handwriting, the cost of stamps and lots more.
It was wonderful to hear about Alison’s Uncle Jack who had been a postman in Ireland. Amazingly, I found out afterwards that once he’d been held at gunpoint, tied up in a post-van and had postal cheques stolen but went back to work the next day! That is dedication to the job isn’t it!
