Really looking forward to being at the Nothe Fort Victorian Weekend this summer on 14th and 15th August to run some letter writing activities. It looks a wonderful weekend set in the grounds of the Fort. You’ll find us down in the School Room with dip pens, paper and ink, as well as all the usual stampers and stickers, envelopes and postbox.
Below is a little bit about what is going to be happening from the Nothe Fort website but do click HERE to find out more. Pre-booking is essential.
“Experience a living history weekend like no other within the walls of the Victorian Nothe Fort. Lose yourself in another time as you explore life in the Nineteenth Century through a variety of re-enactments, craft demonstrations, activities and displays.
Included in our list of attendees are The Ragged Victorians, a re-enactment group whose true-to-life portrayal of the Victorian working classes is not to be missed. The Nothe Fort Artillery will also be manning the canons for firing and drills throughout the day.”
Hope to see you there!
