We are delighted that The English Stamp Company have asked whether we would like to add some Christmassy letter and postal themed stampers to our collaboration page so I thought it might be nice to offer it out to everyone again.
As before we invite you to create a Christmas stamp design, something that will add a touch of charm to letters and envelopes, and become a truly desirable desk accessory for all our fellow letter writers to enjoy over the Christmas season.
The winning designs will be turned into real rubber stamps, available to purchase on their website. Winners will also receive their own design in stamp form.
HOW TO ENTER:
Sorry it’s a bit short notice but we need to receive any entries by 6th October 2025.
You can post the original or a copy to: Christmas Stamper Competition, THLAS HQ, PO BOX 9347, Swanage, Dorset, BH19 9BG
Or you can scan or photograph your image and email it to thlas@outlook.com.
If you’re sending a photo, please make sure you have taken the photo from directly above in natural lighting with no shadows.
Don’t forget to include your name, address and email address.
TOP TIPS:
- Draw your design on smooth, plain, white paper using a fine black pen (not pencil). If you sketch in pencil first, be sure to go over it in pen and erase any pencil marks.
- Your design should work when reduced to 2″ (50mm) or smaller, though you are welcome to draw it larger. We can scale it down.
- Fine shading may become too dense when resized, so simple, well-defined designs often work best.
- If you include text, be sure it’s not too small, unless you are happy for it to be somewhat indistinct when stamped.
- Finally, take inspiration from artists and designers, but your submission must be your own work.
