Have I Got News For You!

Well, yes, exactly that! Just a little bit over the moon to be chosen as the Guest Publication for the Missing Words Round on Have I Got News For You, for Episode 2 of the 65th series! We’d been in correspondence with Hat Trick Productions for a couple of weeks but as it wasn’t 100% definite that it was going to happen we couldn’t tell anyone, which in a way was much nicer because it made the surprise of actually appearing on the night all the more brilliant.

Thank you so much to everyone who texted and tweeted and emailed and telephoned and wrote (letter received this morning) to tell us we’d just made an appearance on primetime television on the Coolest Comedy Show (my words), and did we know about it? I’m really never going to hear David Tennant’s voice in the same light again after hearing him read out “The Handwritten Letter Appreciation Society” several times, and his sweet appreciation of our 4th Birthday cake!

Anyway, if you wanted to see our little moment for yourself click HERE to watch the show on BBC iPlayer (about 24 minutes in, although it’s all brilliant), or the clip with our bit you can find below.

Thank you so much to everyone who also joined after seeing us on their telly. It’s wonderful to know people (of all ages) still value letter writing! (Cheeky, Mr Tennant!)

Handwriting matters more than ever in a digital age.
